Primo Center Computer Technology Lab Featured in Chicago Sun-Times

July 12, 2007 – The Primo Center for Women and Children was featured in Sandra Guy’s “Sci-Tech Scene” column in the Chicago Sun-Times on July 11, 2007

The story entitled “Opening Doors for the Homeless” focused on the Primo Center/Digital Divide Basic Computer Program began in 2005. Primo Center Executive Director Dollie Williams was quoted in the feature along with Jack Lavin, Director of the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, who spoke about the Digital Divide grant.

The story also focused on a 2005 donation of $50,000 from Syclo in suburban Chicago that helped jump-start the program.
