At Primo Center’s 2nd Annual Staff Appreciation Celebration, we had the profound honor of celebrating two extraordinary team members whose combined 43+ years of service have helped shape the very heart of our organization: Dorea Bracey and Shelley Cooper. Surrounded by staff and members of our Board of Directors, we paused not only to recognize milestones—25 years for Dorea and more than 18 years for Shelley—but to reflect on the lives changed, the teams strengthened, and the culture of compassion they helped build.

Shelley’s 18+ year tenure, starting as a volunteer and later becoming an employee, is a testament to steadfast commitment and deep institutional knowledge. Through seasons of growth, challenge, and transformation, she has remained a steady, trusted presence for families and colleagues alike. Dorea’s 25 years of service have been marked by humor, warmth, and an unwavering belief in the potential of the people we serve. Together, they have modeled professionalism, resilience, and heart—qualities that define Primo at its best.

As we honored them at our celebration, the gratitude in the room was unmistakable.
