This partnership reflects a shared commitment to ensuring that every family has access to the healthcare, support, and resources needed to build a healthy future. BCBSIL’s support will help address the significant barriers many families face in accessing prenatal care, postpartum services, pediatric healthcare, and behavioral health support during some of the most critical stages of life.

Primo Bright Beginnings is a comprehensive, trauma-informed maternal and child health program that combines home visiting services, integrated medical and mental healthcare, and transportation assistance to improve outcomes for families experiencing housing instability. Through expanded partnerships with Rush University Medical Center, psychiatric providers, doulas, and lactation specialists, families will receive coordinated prenatal and postpartum care, developmental screenings, pediatric wellness services, mental health support, parenting education, and healthcare navigation. A dedicated family wellness van will further ensure that transportation barriers do not prevent mothers and children from receiving the care they need. Together with BCBSIL, Primo Center is helping create healthier beginnings, stronger families, and brighter futures for Chicago’s most vulnerable children and parents.
