Job Title: Maintenance

Reports To: Program Director

Appointed By: CEO

Job Description

Keep building(s) in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include tending furnace and boiler, performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk.

Job Duties

  1. Perform general clean-up of all areas of the building as directed
  2. Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas and parking lot
  3. Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up
  4. Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
  5. Ensure all restrooms are maintained and fully equipped
  6. Troubleshoot issues with HVAC system, lighting and indoor climate control as necessary

Requirements

1. 2+ years of relevant experience
2. High school diploma/GED required
3. Ability to work well under minimal supervision
4. Capacity to take direction
5. Strong attention to detail
6. Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary
