Grown in Chicago: Virtual Soiree
September 23 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
AUA is in the process of putting together our annual soiree, which is typically a gala event held in late summer to celebrate urban agriculture in Chicago. This year, we are going virtual with a series of workshops which showcase growers, movers, earthworkers, and advocates to share with a wide, virtual audience. AUA would love to work with the Englewood Community Kitchens as a space to record these virtual workshops, specifically on preparing a meal together and an intro to mushroom growing. In working with the Englewood Community Kitchens, we would be highlighting your space as one which coincides with and supports the mission of a healthier, more resilient Chicagoland food system to our over 2,600 partners, as well as our audience attendees. We are curious about the capacity of the Primo Center to be a champion of this event by sponsoring our virtual Soiree through the use of the Englewood Community Kitchens. This is a pre-recording session with 7 people max in the room.
