RedHot Midnight Kiss Featuring Carmen Electra Raises Over $100,000 for the Primo Center for Women and Children

September 12, 2007 — Quintin E. Primo III, Chairman of the Primo Center for Women and Children, has announced that the first annual RedHot Midnight Kiss featuring Carmen Electra raised over $100,000 for the 120-day transitional center for homeless mothers and children located in the Austin and Garfield neighborhoods on the west side of Chicago. The August 18, 2007 Red Carpet VIP party was held at Bon V, a west loop nightclub located at 1100 West Randolph.

“It was exciting to have Carmen be involved with raising money for our special families,” said Quintin E. Primo III, Chairman of the Primo Center for Women and Children. “In addition to raising some much needed funds for the center, the event that was created by Event Chair Trish Hoffman also created dialogue on the problem of homeless women and children in this country, which is the fastest growing segment of the homeless population in America.”

“I can’t say enough about our RedHot Midnight Kiss Host Committee, which worked day and night to raise $100,000.” said Hoffman, who is also a member of the Primo Center for Women and Children’s Board of Directors. “However, just as important is that over 600 people who attended the event were exposed to the seriousness of the homeless problem facing mothers and their children in this country. I am just so pleased that Carmen and a long list of sponsors came on-board to help our effort.”

“It’s very important to help people in need,” said Carmen Electra, who in May released her latest book ‘How To Be Sexy’. “Giving back is something that has been important throughout my career, and that’s why I was so pleased to be associated with the Primo Center for Women and Children.”

RedHot Midnight Kiss featuring Carmen Electra is the sister event of the RedHot Gala which raised over $400,000 and celebrates its sixth year in October 2007.
